THE LODGE
The lodge was inspired by Andean mountain huts and thoughtfully designed to withstand the elements of life off-the-grid in Patagonia. Inside you'll find a cozy living area around the stone fireplace as well as a fully equipped kitchen and dining room on the main level. All guest rooms are located upstairs, along with a comfortable lounge area, reading nook and access to an outdoor balcony.
BEDROOMS
The lodge comfortably accommodates groups of up to 17 people between 6 standard guests rooms and one suite. Standard rooms have either a double or two twin beds with shared, spa-style bathrooms. AMENITIES
AROUND THE LODGE
Just outside the backdoor, you'll find the parrilla, a traditional grill used to prepare the famous Argentine asado (BBQ) and other delicacies, as well as ample outdoor seating. A cellar, where apple juice, jams and other goods produced with fruits hand-picked from the orchard are stored, is also right around the corner. Behind the lodge, a staircase leads down to a beach along the Río Azul river. Groups are also invited to take a complementary tour of our biointensive gardens and explore the rest of the property and surrounding Río Azul Natural Protected Area on foot. You can read more about the trails here.
WELLNESS
Whether you are planning a wellness retreat or just want to enjoy the on-site facilities during your stay, you will have exclusive access to two wood-fired hot tubs, a Finnish sauna, cold plunge pool and open air yoga deck. The open floor plan of the lodge also provides ample indoor space for activities during the winter months, or in case of inclement weather.
SUSTAINABLY DESIGNED
The lodge was constructed using local materials, including lumber sawn on-site and hay bales for insulation. Firewood is utilized for both space heating and hot water and power is derived from an on-site hydroelectric turbine when the stream level permits. Our extensive biointensive gardens provide fresh produce throughout the season, and dairy, meat and other food products are purchased from neighboring farms whenever possible.
